Earlier this month, the following 3 quotes showed up in my email, all on the same morning. As I read over the quotes that day, I smiled at the Universe's intent to make sure I got the message.
"Debbie, a goal or a dream that doesn't challenge the dreamer to become more than they've ever been, to go where they've never gone, or to feel things they've never felt, is actually like wishing for a giant 'life snooze button.'" - TUT, Notes from the Universe
"A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown." - Denis Waitley
"How did the rose ever open its heart and give to the world all its beauty? It felt the encouragement of Light against its being; otherwise we all remain too frightened."
- Hafiz, translated by Daniel Ladinsky, Love Poems from God

Why are these quotes capturing my attention? The words served to condition me in preparation for a session of strategizing and visioning that my business partner and I recently completed. During our planning session I experience several "a ha" moments - the kind that will propel me to make the shifts that take us closer to our dream and vision for our business. I'm jazzed and ready to leap out of my stifling comfort zone! Following along on this theme, my next post will discuss "magic" lists. Stay tuned.
Hi Deb,
I really like, "How did the rose ever open its heart and give to the world all its beauty? It felt the encouragement of Light against its being; otherwise we all remain too frightened."
It is just so profound to think of nature as our teacher, but that exactly what it is. We look at nature and we see the universe.
